Post-harvest Handling

It is of no use to increase production whilst maintaining the same levels of postharvest losses. Postharvest losses are both quantities and qualitative losses which reduce farmer’s income.

Tobacco Grading

The aim of tobacco grading is to present tobacco in a manner that enhances both its use and value to the buyers by sorting out leaves of similar characteristics into uniform lots for sale.

Carrots

Application of manure in carrots encourages forking. Carrots require soils with moderate fertility.Inconsistent watering brings about carrot cracking.

Maize

Maize is a very thirsty plant, if you know how thirsty grass is, then I will tell you that maize is just giant grass, and give it a somewhat large amout of sunlight

Tomatoes

Tomatoes need quite a bit of sunlight, still always get as much as you can, and always give them a lot of water.
